Domains

The HFBS platform covers the world. The information is customized for different regions under a number of HFBS ‘Domains’. An HFBS Domain may be a Country, a State, a Region, a single Health Authority or a major private or public Healthcare provider. Access to a domain grants access to relevant health facility guidelines via the HFBS Briefing Module – these guidelines can be used to rapidly create a health facility brief.

To view a list of available domains log into HFBS, and then select the “other domains” options from the domain drop down list. You will be presented with a list of domains available. You can find detailed information on domain pricing on the pricing page.

Unrestricted Domains

• Self administered by the users
• Users can self-register and subscribe
• Users can belong to multiple domains
• Users own their own data
• Users’ data is private and secure
• Users can see see their own data
• Project initiator is the Project Administrator (PA)
• PA can add other users and grant access

Restricted Domains

• Administered by a Domain Administrator (DA)
• Usually run by Government Authorities
• Data belongs to the Health Authority
• Access is granted by the DA
• DA may access all projects within the Domain
• DA may offer access to a Domain at no cost
• DA controls the built-in Guidelines and Standards
• DA provides user support and training
